Dentures
Partial and full Dentures
In general tooth loss of some or several teeth has a significant impact on the quality of life of the patient. It reduces the ability to chew any type of food. Also the aesthetic appearance and social interaction is for many patients compromised. They feel ashamed because of their missing teeth and avoid smiling.
Removable tooth restorations serve as substitute for lost natural teeth to regain function and aesthetics of the residual dentition. The term partial denture describes the replacement of a single tooth or several teeth often retained to the natural dentition. In cases, where all teeth are lost a full denture is indicated.
